I chose the name Sunflower as the meaning beautifully captures positivity and vitality. The symbolism of sunflowers turning towards the sun is such an inspiring metaphor for embracing the good in life! Sunflowers also symbolize joy, prosperity, and longevity. Like Sunflowers we always keep our face to the sun!

As the owner of Sunflower Salon, I have dedicated my career to the beauty industry, a passion that began during high school in New York, where I attended beauty school and graduated at 18. In 1999, I made the move to California and began my journey in West Hollywood, honing my skills and gaining valuable experience in the vibrant Los Angeles hair scene.

When I’m not behind the chair I enjoy practicing yoga, reading, gardening and spending quality time with my Italian greyhound Chihuahua mix Becky.

I love to travel and immerse myself in different cultures around the world, always finding inspiration in the most surprising places.

After many years of working in west LA at various locations, I decided to take the leap and open my own salon Sunflower Salon in 2020. And I haven’t looked back! I thrive in this ever involving industry, and really enjoy the diversity of my clientele and the constant opportunity for learning and growth.

Grateful to be able to create positive environments for my guests and peers and and hope to continue with integrity and passion. I truly enjoy my profession. It’s a source of fulfillment to me and I’m excited to be on this journey!
